Thursday October 2nd: 45km clock start task won by Davide Cardona !

Here are the results for our 5th task here in Castelo. Sorry for the delay due to some technical problems and our General Assembly that was taking place in the evening.

Wednesday October 1st: 48km race won by Urs Schoenauer

Today's task was a 48km race. There is still quite strong wind and many pilot are spending a lot of time soaring on the little ridges. Most pilots land between 20 and 28km, before the 30km validation distance. 9 pilots manage to cross this limit and reach goal.

Tuesday September 30th: 75.5km race won by Urban Valic

One more task, and this time we have 6 pilots in goal !

Urban Valic is winning, André Rainsford is second and Michael Sigel is third.
Ewa Wisnierska reaches 62.7km, Renata Kuhnova and Anja Kroll are both second with a 56.6km flight.

The best team today is ABAC with Jean-Marc Caron in goal and Simon Issenhuth landing only 1.5km before the goal.

Monday September 29th: 49km race won by Charles Cazaux

A 49km race with only one turn point started at 13:55... Many pilot landed after flying around 20km.
Charles Cazaux wins the task.

Sunday September 28th: 50km task won by Karlo Bonacic

A 50km race has started at 13:40...

The task was stopped at 15:25 because of some strong south wind.

Karlo Bonacic wins the task, followed by Andreas "Pepe" Malecki, and Yann Martail. For the women, Renate Kuhnova and Ewa Wisnierska are both reaching 31.4km, and Elisa Houdry is third.

Brazil World Cup 2008 : Confirmation of CIVL CAT II status

CIVL Category II status is confirmed for our 2008 final World Cup event that will be run in Castelo - Brazil from Sept 27th to Oct 4th.
